These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, applications, and services operated by GGDUEL at https://ggduel.com (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.
• You may not use the Service if you are prohibited by applicable law, including laws related to online gaming, gambling, crypto-assets, or sanctions.
• You represent that your use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining legality in your location.

2. The Service

GGDUEL provides a platform for skill-based gaming challenges ("Duels") and related features (e.g. leaderboards, tournaments, profiles). The Service facilitates matching, rules display, and technical workflows. GGDUEL is not a bank, custodian, or licensed financial institution. On-chain transfers involve public blockchain networks outside our full control.

3. Accounts & security

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use via contact.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose risk, or as required by law.

4. Duels, stakes & digital assets

4.1 Nature of stakes

Duels may involve staking or transferring digital assets (e.g. SOL) according to flows presented in the Service. You understand that blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Network fees, congestion, and wallet or RPC issues may affect timing and success of transactions.

4.2 No guarantee of outcomes

Results depend on gameplay, opponent behavior, and platform rules. GGDUEL does not guarantee winnings, profits, or uninterrupted operation. Past performance of any feature does not predict future results.

4.3 Fees

Platform fees, minimum stakes, and economic parameters may apply as disclosed in the Service (including UI copy and duel creation flows). Fees may change with notice where practicable.

4.4 Disputes & moderation

Disputed or ambiguous outcomes may be handled according to platform rules, automated checks, or moderator review where available. Our decisions in operating the Service are intended to be fair but are not a substitute for legal process between players.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized automation, or manipulate match outcomes.
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm other users.
• Upload malware, scrape the Service in violation of our policies, or overload infrastructure.
• Use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activity.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with GGDUEL or third parties.
• Circumvent security, access controls, or geographic / eligibility restrictions.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including branding, design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by GGDUEL or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms. Game titles and trademarks belong to their respective owners; GGDUEL does not claim ownership of third-party IP.

7. Third-party games & services

Duels may relate to third-party games or platforms (e.g. mobile games, chess sites, streaming services). Those products are operated by independent companies. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies. GGDUEL is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those third parties unless expressly stated.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GGDUEL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN FEES SPECIFICALLY FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

11. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GGDUEL and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

12. Changes & termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for operational, legal, or policy reasons.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of GGDUEL, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts or tribunals in that jurisdiction shall have exclusive venue, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country grant you non-waivable rights (e.g. suit in your home courts). Before formal proceedings, you agree to try to resolve disputes by contacting us in good faith.

14. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale.
